“Hey, this is Dr. Anand from GNO Snoring & Sinus. Thanks for tuning in. We hope you enjoy the video. This is the CT scan of a patient with chronic sinus issues period. The patient was suffering with sinus pressure and nasal congestion. In-office CT scan was performed. As you can see, it shows in the left cheek sinus significant sinus fluid on the lefthand side, as well as sinus fluid on the righthand side. There is also sinus infection in the ethmoid sinuses. The patient was treated in an outside facility with antibiotics, but they did not provide any relief. As a result, the patient came to our office for further treatment. The patient was treated with a maximum course of antibiotic therapy with two weeks of antibiotics, and as you can see on the follow-up CT scan, two weeks later, there is significant improvement in total clearance of sinus infection on the left and right cheek sinus. There’s also significant improvement from these ethmoid sinuses as well. This is why it’s very important to treat patients appropriately from a medical perspective and also why it’s important to have accurate in-office diagnostics to diagnose the sinus issue and treat it appropriately.”
